WCAG Conformance
Fox River Community Theater is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We continually improve the user experience for everyone and apply the relevant accessibility standards.
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with disabilities and more user-friendly for everyone.
Target conformance level: WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Our standard is to meet or exceed this level across all pages and interactive features of this website.
Known Limitations
While we strive to meet WCAG 2.1 AA across the entire site, some areas are currently under review or remediation:
- Older PDF documents (such as past season programmes) may not be fully screen-reader compatible. We are working to replace these with accessible HTML alternatives.
- Some embedded third-party content (e.g. ticketing widgets) may have accessibility limitations outside our direct control. We are working with our providers to address these issues.
