Everything you need to know about ticket refunds, date exchanges, and cancellation terms.

Ticket Refund Rules

Fox River Community Theater does not offer refunds on purchased tickets except in the event of a show cancellation or postponement caused by FRCT. If a performance is cancelled and not rescheduled, ticket holders will receive a full refund to the original payment method within 10 business days. In the case of a postponement, ticket holders may choose to attend the rescheduled date or request a full refund within 14 days of the announcement. Refunds are not available for personal scheduling conflicts, illness, or other circumstances outside of FRCT’s control.

Ticket Exchange Process

Ticket holders may exchange their tickets for a different performance of the same production, subject to availability, up to 48 hours before the originally purchased performance date. Exchanges are processed at the box office or by contacting us at info@foxriverct.org. No price difference is charged for exchanges within the same production; however, if the replacement performance is at a higher price point, the difference must be paid. Exchanges to a different production are not permitted.

Subscription Cancellation Terms

Season subscription packages may be cancelled within 14 days of purchase for a full refund, provided no individual performances within the package have yet occurred. After 14 days, or once any performance has been attended, subscriptions are non-refundable but may be converted to a tax-deductible donation to FRCT. Subscription holders who need to cancel due to a documented medical emergency should contact our box office directly; such requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

Donation Refund Policy

Donations made to Fox River Community Theater are generally non-refundable as they are immediately applied to programming and operational costs. If a donation was made in error — for example, due to a duplicate charge or an incorrect amount — please contact us at info@foxriverct.org within 30 days of the transaction date. We will review all such requests promptly and, where appropriate, issue a refund to the original payment method. FRCT is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization; donors will receive a tax receipt for all qualifying contributions.

Youth Program Enrollment Cancellation & Refund

Cancellations for youth program enrollment received more than 30 days before the program start date are eligible for a full refund minus a $25 administrative fee. Cancellations received between 15 and 30 days before the start date will receive a 50% refund. No refunds are issued for cancellations received fewer than 15 days before the start date, though enrollment may be transferred to another participant at no additional charge. In the event that FRCT cancels a youth program, all enrolled participants will receive a full refund within 10 business days.
